Accessibility statement for vigiloweb.com
Last updated:
We aim for vigiloweb.com to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Status: partially conformant. This statement is based on a self-assessment; there has been no independent review yet [PLACEHOLDER: update after review].
How we tested
- An automated check with axe-core 4.10 of all public pages, in the light and dark theme, during development in November 2026. Issues it found were fixed.
- A manual keyboard check of the public pages: navigation, the scan form, menus and the checkout.
- We have not yet tested with screen readers [PLACEHOLDER: add screen-reader testing and date].
What we do
- We design text and controls for at least 4.5:1 contrast in both the light and dark theme.
- Status is never shown by colour alone: every result has a shape and a word (Pass, Warning, Fail, Info, Not checked). Links in running text are underlined.
- We design every page to work with a keyboard and to show a visible focus outline.
- Pages are designed to work at 400% zoom and at 320 px width without horizontal scrolling.
- Animations stop after a few seconds, can be paused, and don’t run when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Score trend charts come with the same data in a table.
Known limitations
- The PDF is produced by your browser’s print function and may not be fully tagged.
- Pages that show your account, reports and scan results load their content with JavaScript. Without JavaScript they show only a short notice.
- We have not tested with screen readers yet, so some announcements (for example scan progress) may not work well with every screen reader.

Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, the ACM supervises the European Accessibility Act for consumer services. Vigilo sells to businesses only, so the European Accessibility Act may not apply to this site; we follow it anyway.
